Ronald A. Fischman, MD

Dr. Ronald A. Fischman received his undergraduate degree in chemistry from Columbia University. He graduated from SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, New York in 1974 and then completed his Nephrology training at New York Hospital-Cornell Medical Center.

Since coming to southern California in 1979, Dr. Fischman has established himself as a leader in all levels the healthcare community. He has served on the clinical faculty at Harbor UCLA, serves as medical director at various dialysis facilities, has provided medical staff leadership in numerous healthcare systems, and has founded several physician led healthcare organizations.

Dr. Fischman's broad experience has allowed him to successfully partner with the finest healthcare systems in southern California focusing on Chronic Kidney Disease, End Stage Renal Disease, and Acute Kidney Injury. His emphasis is on quality of care, comprehensive services, patient education, quality of life, and patient satisfaction. His aim is to create the best Nephrology Group Practice in southern California.
