It is Dr. Audell's belief that "a patient can be a more active participant in her healthcare when she is informed about her medical status and the different options available to her. The physicians at Orange Coast Women's Medical Group encourage their patients to ask questions. Dr. Audell credits today's greater level of patient-physician communication to the public's desire for more information regarding their health. "This greater health awareness is accomplished by more frequent patient requests for screening exams - valuable tools in the early detection and treatment of disease."
Dr. Audell supports Vaginal Birth After Cesarean (VBAC). A graduate of Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., Dr. Audell did her postgraduate training at Georgetown University Hospital. Board Certified and recertified in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Audell has served as a member of several committees at Saddleback's Memorial Medical Center and Mission Hospital Regional Medical Center.
