Kenneth T. Kim, MD

A second generation Korean-American born in St. Louis, Dr. Kim graduated summa cum laude from Harvard College and received his medical degree at Harvard Medical School. He completed his allergy training at UCLA. Dr Kim served as Chief of Medicine at LBMMC from 1998 to 2000 and has been practicing in the Long Beach/Orange County area since 1991.

As a leading investigator in latex allergy, asthma, pediatric allergy/asthma, and ethnobridging clinical pharmacology studies, he has spoken at numerous national and international meetings on various aspects of his research.

He is medical director of the Allergy, Asthma, and Respiratory Care Center, practicing with two other board certified allergists, Dr. Anoshie Ratnayake and Dr. Joshua Davidson.

He has been a principal or sub investigator in over 400 clinical trials, published over 30 articles, and over 60 abstracts in his career. He has been featured on CNN, ABC local news, and presented professional opinions to the FDA in the area of pediatric early phase clinical research.
