Igor V. Persidsky, MD

Dr. Persidsky is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, and has been practicing in the Long Beach area since 1995 with several medical groups. His association with Long Beach Memorial Medical Center started in 1997 when he became one of three hospitalists for the Universal Care Medical Group. Currently he is in the process of establishing full-time house call practice in Long Beach.

After graduation from medical school, Dr. Persidsky spent nine years at the 250 bed geriatric hospital of the Institute of Gerontology in Kiev (a national institute on aging for the former Soviet Union), first as a resident and fellow and later as an attending staff. His other credentials include a Ph.D. equivalent in Cardiology, Assistant/Associate Professorship of Research at the Institute of Gerontology, Visiting Professorship of Social Work at California State University in Long Beach.

Dr. Persidsky also serves as a voluntary Faculty at USC School of Medicine. He is a member of American College of Physicians, American Society of Internal Medicine, Ukrainian Medical Association of North America, and Gerontological Society of America.
