“I want to make a significant difference in the quality of life of those suffering from increasingly common diseases such as allergic rhinitis, food allergies, asthma and atopic dermatitis. I found that the study of allergy and immunology, from a scientific perspective, could directly translate into improving patients’ lives.
I enjoy seeing patients and helping them with specific problems that need my expertise. For me, the most important part of the visit is listening, as a patient tells their story. By the time the patient leaves, we have a plan – the first step to helping them feel better. I believe patient education can make a big difference. By helping patients better understand their diseases, we improve their outcomes.
I am strongly committed to my patients. Allergic diseases often require investigative work. For example, discovering the exact substance that triggered an allergic reaction after a meal is one such challenge. Identifying what triggers eczema or frequent infections also needs investigation. Patients should feel assured that I will do everything I can to reach the right diagnosis and prescribe the most effective treatment for their specific problem. I am truly invested in their health.”
