Dr. Ana M. Rojas was born in Chile, South America and was raised in Southern Orange County. She attended the University of California Irvine for her undergraduate studies and then entered medical school at Wake Forest University-Bowman Gray School of Medicine. Her internship and residency were completed at the UCLA – VA Internal Medicine program and then she entered the UCLA fellowship program in Hematology-Oncology. While at UCLA she saw a variety of cases in both hematology and medical oncology. She was also active in research in the area of bone marrow transplantation, which led to several academic presentations at National Hematology meetings.
Dr. Rojas is completely devoted to patient care and her personality is characterized by warmth and compassion. She is fluent in Spanish and English. Outside of work Dr. Rojas enjoys an active family life with her two sons and husband.
