We’re bringing our resources together to inform and encourage you to take the necessary steps to prevent cancer with a healthy lifestyle, and screen for cancer at the right time and with the right test.

Come join us and learn how you can reduce your cancer risk and maintain the commitment to live a healthy life.  Bring your questions for our experts, schedule your screenings and explore healthy eating choices and exercise options.  We will be serving refreshments and our chef will demonstrate easy and original recipes you can try at home.

Meet with a representative from the American Cancer Society and learn how to help lower your chances of getting cancer, plus what screening tests the American Cancer Society recommends.  Pick up the information you want from our partners in “staying well”.  Thanks in part to the American Cancer Society, nearly 14 million cancer survivors are celebrating birthdays this year.

Breast Health

Our Patient Navigator from the MemorialCare Breast Center at Saddleback Memorial will be offering education about self-examination using simulation models.  You can learn about our Breast Center, as well as screening recommendations for women of every age.

Blood Donor Center

Stop by the Blood Donor Center table to see how you can help support others, our community, and our patients by donating blood. Schedule an appointment to give blood.

Cancer Risk Information from our Genetic Counselors

Our Genetic Counselors will be available to provide a greater understanding of your familial risk and prevention options.  They can also schedule appointments for a formal genetic risk assessment based on your needs.

Comprehensive Physicals

Meet with a nurse from our Wellness Center to learn about these important services and how they can help keep you healthy and active. Take advantage of the opportunity to book your appointments while you are here.

Cooking Demonstrations

Be inspired and motivated by our healthy recipes, prepared at the health fair by a chef. Sample the finished product and take home the recipes to serve at home.

Diabetes Education

We will have experts in diabetes education offering advice on diabetes prevention and random blood sugar testing.

myChart

myChart is an online system where a patient can log in to view reports included in his/her medical chart.  If your doctor uses the electronic record system at MemorialCare, you can learn from one of our expert users how to stay in touch with your own health information.

Nutrition Consultations

Tell us your typical eating habits and one of our registered dietitians will give you personalized recommendations to help you focus in on healthy choices at every meal.

Physical Therapy / Cancer Rehabilitation

Our Physical Therapists have a quick fitness test suitable for almost everyone.  See how you score on the test and learn how to become stronger and steadier with the right exercises.

ReimagineThe Other Half of Care

Learn about the clinically proven Pillars4Life Program that has been developed and tested over more than a decade and implemented in hospitals nationwide.  Hear about practical solutions to issues that may be keeping you from feeling your best.

Watch or ride the stationary “blender bike” to see how pedal power can not only turn you into a healthier person, but also result in a tasty, refreshing treat.

Therapy on 4 Legs

Come meet the Caring Creatures Pet Partner Teams from the Animal Health Foundation.  Our 4 legged friends are registered to visit hospitals, assisted living homes and hospice patients to help bring comfort and encouragement to those in need of brightness in their day!
