Stroke Support Association: Stroke Education and Support GroupDescription: A support group for stroke survivors and a separate group for family members and caregivers meet weekly on Tuesdays at 10 a.m. for 1-1/2 hours. Discussions led by trained facilitators provide information about stroke and opportunities to share problem-solving, community resources related to stroke and encourage socialization with new friends. Support group is offered in partnership with the Stroke Association of Southern California – Long Beach Chapter. One-month breaks from the meeting are in April, August and December.
