Saddleback Memorial Medical Center Welcomes Three New Board MembersJuly 23, 2009
Two Community Leaders and One Physician Named
LAGUNA HILLS, CA (July 23, 2009) – Saddleback Memorial Medical Center is pleased to announce Patrick Donahue, Jaci Songstad, and David Skinner, MD, have been elected to the hospital’s Board of Directors.
“We are honored by the commitment these individuals are making to serve as members of our board,” says Steve Geidt, Chief Executive Officer of Saddleback Memorial Medical Center. “Each of our board members truly cares about our community’s health and wellbeing.”
BOARD MEMBER PROFILES:
Patrick Donahue is currently the Executive Vice President for Granite Homes, Inc. As Executive Vice President, he is responsible for managing all land planning, site development and homebuilding operations. Mr. Donahue earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Wayne State University in Detroit and earned his CPA certification from the State of Michigan. He previously served in the United States Marine Corps, stationed in Hawaii. Mr. Donahue also serves as the Co-Chairman of the Saddleback Memorial Patient Family Advisory Council.
Jaci Songstad is a graduate of Long Beach State University where she majored in speech. As a community volunteer and fund raiser, she has participated in numerous campaigns for Laguna Hills Cityhood and candidates. This is Ms. Songstad’s second term as a Saddleback Memorial Board of Directors member, originally serving a term in 1989.
David Skinner, M.D. is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, completing his Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine at UCI Medical Center in Orange. Dr. Skinner is Board Certified in Anesthesiology with a subspecialty in Critical Care. His leadership roles at Saddleback Memorial include Chief of Staff, Chief of Anesthesia Subsection, and member of the Strategic Planning Committee.
