Dr. Ozaki Shines with Excellence in Health Care Awards

On March 31, our own Dr. Michael Ozaki, Fountain Valley office pediatrician, was presented with an "Excellence in Health Care" Award by MemorialCare and ABC7.

Nominated by their physician colleagues, 2,400 physicians were pared down to 29 finalists for the Excellence in Health Care Award. Of those, only ten were honored at the Awards hosted by ABC7 and MemorialCare Health System at the Disneyland Hotel. ABC7 Eyewitness News anchors Michelle Tuzee and David Ono emceed the awards honoring the physicians for their contributions to clinical excellence, leadership, streamlining patient care, partnering with employees and clinicians to advance care, and innovations in medicine and health care technology.

Dr. Ozaki adds this award to his much-deserved, growing collection. Recognized four times as a Physician of Excellence by Orange County Medical Association, other major accolades of this exceptional Bristol Park physician include: a Patient Choice Award winner, Cal Optima Circle of Care honoree and again recently named a "Super Doc," by Los Angeles magazine for the second consecutive year. He is known to always go above and beyond in caring for his young patients and their families.

Way to go Dr. Ozaki, it couldn't have happened to a nicer physician!
