Dr. Barton Wachs established the Atlantic Urology Medical Group in 1982 to provide compassionate urologic care to patients in and around Long Beach, CA, including Los Angeles and Orange County. Dr. Wachs is a board certified urologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of conditions of the male and female urinary tract and the male reproductive system.
A number of Dr. Wachs's patients are seen for sexual dysfunction, no-scalpel vasectomy, infertility, bladder control problems (incontinence), penile conditions, and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Some additional urologic conditions that Dr. Wachs treats include:
Laser treatment of genital warts
Prostatitis
Prostate cancer
Kidney stone disease
Spinal cord injuries and other neurological damage causing bladder control problems
Dr. Wachs provides both medical and minimally invasive treatments for most urologic conditions. Dr. Wachs is careful to provide patients with the information necessary to make often-difficult treatment decisions. IF surgery becomes necessary, Dr. Wachs offers years of experience and advanced training in urologic surgery. Additionallly, Dr. Wachs is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS). Dr. Wachs is a provider of no-scalpel vasectomies, vasectomy reversals, ultrasound testing, urodynamics for incontinence, and surgeries for prostate cancer. |
