| Dr. William C. Kim is an orthopedic surgeon at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center with widely recognized expertise in total joint replacement surgery. He is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery, and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and The Orthopaedic Research Society. Dr. Kim has additional training as a Fellow in Total Joint Replacement/Bioengineering and is former Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at UCLA. He is currently Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the University of California at Irvine with research emphasis in total joint replacement surgery. Dr. Kim is co-recipient of The John Charnley Award (1984), the most prestigious award presented annually by The Hip Society American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons for hip surgery research by world-wide competition. Dr. Kim is designer-surgeon for an advanced total hip and a total knee prosthesis presently in world-wide use. |
