Paula Groncy, M.D., is a board certified pediatric hematologist/oncologist. She has been part of the JJCCC team for over 25 years. Dr. Groncy received her medical degree from Ohio State University. She completed her clinical fellowship in Pediatric hematology/oncology at Columbia Children's and the research fellowship at Harbor UCLA in Pediatric Hematology. Dr. Groncy established the Pediatric CCS Sickle Cell Center at Miller Children's Hospital in 1991. She established Hemophilia Center in 2001. Dr. Groncy is interested in all areas of cancer, sickle cell stroke and clotting disorders presented with overt clinical stroke.
