Dr. DiSaia is medical director of the Todd Cancer Institute. A world-renowned gynecologic oncologist and researcher, Dr. DiSaia is well-known for dedicating his career to the study of ovarian carcinoma and identifying better methods for prevention, early diagnosis and treatment.

Dr. DiSaia recently stepped down as director of the Division of Gyencologic Oncology at University of California, Irvine. He was also the Dorothy Marsh Chair in Reproductive Biology, President of the UCI Medical Group and Deputy Director of the UCI Chao Family Clinical Cancer Center. He serves as chair of the Gynecology Oncology Group and the President of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. DiSaia received his MD degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and completed his internship in surgery and residency in OB/GYN at Yale University School of Medicine. His fellowship was conducted in gynecologic oncology at University of Texas MD Anderson Hospital and Tumor Institute. He is board certified in both obstetrics and gynecology and gyencologic oncology.
