For the past twelve years I have concentrated on three aspects of practice of Oncology and Hematology. First, to become an excellent communicator, to demystify cancer and its treatment to my patients, and to empower them through information and shared decision-making. Second, to become knowledgeable about alternative therapies and complementary therapies, to help those who wish to go beyond what conventional therapies have to offer. Third, to deliver top quality service to patients with lung cancer and their families, a group of patients who are still relatively under-served in today's environment.

My practice setting includes a teaching component and a component of clinical research.
