Dr. Nguyen received her Medical Degree from the University of California, Irvine in 1987. She completed her post-doctorate training in Internal Medicine and Hematology Oncology at UCI in 1993. After 13 years practicing hematology and general oncology, she is now a dedicated breast oncologist in Orange County, California.
Dr. Nguyen retains an active interest in teaching. As Assistant Clinical Professor for the Hematology/Oncology Department at UCI Medical Center, she has led the Hem/Onc Fellows Clinical Series for the last five years. She also serves on the advisory board of the UCI Cancer Epidemiology and Prevention Department. She is Medical Director for Barbara K. Robinson Breast Cancer Research Program of the Todd Cancer Institute at Long Beach Memorial and Orange Coast Memorial. Her goal is to bring clinical trials to as many MemorialCare breast cancer patients as possible by growing the existing program and by encouraging and facilitating the participation of all MemorialCare Oncologists. |
