I have been practicing general pathology since 1986 after finishing a 4 year residency and fellowship year in surgical pathology and cytopathology. My areas of interest are breast pathology, and cytopathology. I find my practice exciting and fascinating because it combines humanity, feelings, science, research, diagnosis and treatment. I enjoy meeting patients and reviewing with them their own pathology findings under the microscope. This gives the patient the opportunity to see the cells that have caused the disruption in their lives. Our physicians like to work as a team of professionals to teach, exchange ideas, and learn from each other for the benefit of the patient. I am currently the Medical Director for Pathology Services at Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center and Pathology Director at our MemorialCare Breast Center at Orange Coast.
I have the privilege of serving as Secretary-Treasurer (2002-2004)of the American Society of Breast Disease (ASBD), the only multi and interdisciplinary Society in the USA dealing with breast problems.
