Dr. Jesse Tan completed his residency training in Head and Neck Surgery/Otolaryngology at the UCLA School of Medicine in 2003. He is trained in all aspects of the specialty, including head and neck tumors, sinus problems, laryngeal and voice disorders, ear disorders, pediatric ENT, and facial plastic and reconstructive surgery. He has special training in thyroid and parathyroid surgery and has brought cutting edge technology in this field to Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. This technology includes minimally invasive thyroid and parathyroid surgery, intra-operative recurrent laryngeal nerve monitoring, and the use of intra-operative parathyroid hormone assays for parathyroid surgery. He is Chairman of the Head and Neck Surgery/Otolaryngology Section at Long Beach Memorial from 2008-2012.
