Saddleback Heart Institute & Wellness Center

Offering up-to-date technology and personalized care, the Saddleback Heart Institute & Wellness Center (SHI&WC) provides comprehensive cardiac services for the prevention, diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation of heart disease for south Orange County. Care managers, in collaboration with physicians and other healthcare providers, coordinate all aspects of the heart patients' care while they are in the hospital through personalized clinical maps.

The SHI&WC features a Chest Pain Evaluation Program and complete cardiology services, including a full-service cardiac catheterization lab and an open-heart surgery program. Saddleback Memorial was instrumental in pioneering beating heart surgery and achieves excellent outcomes for heart repair. After receiving inpatient care, most cardiac patients will continue their treatment with the cardiac rehabilitation program for lifestyle modification and cardiovascular education.

The latest addition to the center's services, Fitness First, is a comprehensive health education and exercise program geared toward the mature adult. Other outpatient services include diagnostic testing, health screenings, educational classes, executive physicals and support groups.
