Family-Centered Accommodations
Designed for optimal comfort and convenience, all of Anaheim Memorial’s beautiful labor, delivery and recovery (LDR) suites are private and include a bathroom with shower. And every postpartum room is private— enabling mother, baby and family to bond during their stay. We encourage your coach or partner to be with you at all times and welcome visits from siblings, other family members and friends.

Outstanding Clinical Staff
Anaheim Memorial offers a team of highly trained obstetricians, neonatologists, pediatricians, nurses and other specialists who are sensitive to the needs of new mothers and committed to providing a high level of family-centered, quality service. For patients who choose epidural pain relief during labor and delivery, as well as for mothers requiring cesarean sections, anesthesia coverage is available in-house at all times.

Our postpartum staff is specially trained to provide all of the support and encouragement you and your newborn need. We also offer a diverse educational team that includes certified lactation consultants to help you with one-on-one breastfeeding instruction.

The Birth Place presents an extensive array of prenatal, postpartum and parenting classes to help you plan for your new arrival, including:

• Maternity orientation and hospital tour
• Childbirth and parenting education
• Super Saturday childbirth training
• Sibling class
• Breastfeeding education
• New baby care
• Infant safety and CPR

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Anaheim Memorial’s NICU is approved as a community level facility by California Children’s Services (CCS) and provides a full range of specialized, family-centered services for premature and medically fragile newborns. Additional programs include high risk infant follow-up, neonatal transport and outreach education.
